Hayley's visit

Been a little slack lately due to the visit of D1 Hayley. She lives in Mt Isa so we don't get to see her all that often....here's a pic of her with her brother, Steven. Getting the pair of them together and actually smiling is no mean feat. She was really happy to be finally meeting her newest nephew..Joshua.

Ooops..this is the Bloom layout. Another note to self...do not attempt computer stuff when too tired. Cheers.

Bloom

Glad to be home..been a bit spoilt lately had plenty of time at home to play with my cricut. This layout is of one of our potted frangipanis that Bruce has acquired on his travels. As he is a truckie travelling north, there are lots of trees along the way. He always keeps his eye out for a different colour. The flowers and scent are my absolute favourite. Lovely My Minds Eye papers.

Boy Layouts

Well I've spent all arvy on this one. I'm totally over glue and ds tape for one day. I find boy pages much more of a struggle than frilly girly pages. Anywho...this is our Hayden on his 2nd birthday..such a sweetie.
Excited as I heard the post van beep today. Two of my cricut carts have arrived and one on the way. Just giving em a test drive now. Also more flowers....note to me....do not buy stuff on the net while consuming alcohol. Upside of that is I get a lovely surprise when I open my packages.LOL

30th October 2009

I have fully embraced this shabby chic trend. I've used some lovely Websters pages and my package from Dlish Scraps arrived in the post today just in time for me to complete it. A friend had shown me a vintage card and it reminded me I had an old pic of my Nana that I could use for a layout.

I only wish now as I'm older that I had taken more of an interest in old family photos. Who knows where they all ended up.

One thing is for sure, in this high tech age future generations will have heaps of pictorial and video history to call upon.
